Where can i get a bus
id?
Bus ID's can be found by looking for 3 numbers (black
3-number
decal) on the bus outside,
or front of the bus above the windshield inside. sometimes there is also one on the back
of the
bus inside.
or if your a nerd (like me) go to Navigo
select a bus stop, and then click an upcoming bus. Open dev tools and go to the network
tab,
then click "Trip Schedule" on navigo for your selected bus.
Look for the request to "./schedule?trip_id=", click it, and go to the response tab, and
look
for the "busId" key in the JSON. That is the busID for that bus.
(for some reason WPG Transit doesnt show you this on the page itself.)
What is this?
Enabling Retired Fleet Range (RFR) will make the engine use a list of retired fleet numbers
(busids) for general data & CPTDB querys,
instead of the current live ranges from Winnipeg Transit.
No map will be used in this mode, for obvious reasons.
Below is an array of ranges, they are the available busids whilst this mode is activated.
401–504
510–561
641–664
671–699
901–910
911–925
971–983
984–990
991–993
994–997
CPTDB information may be parsed to the wrong position due to the
older CPTDB page layouts.
Ex. VIN may switch places with manufacture date, depending on the fleet range you
are browsing within

Field data is from a static
collection of fleet ranges i have manually made off the CPTDB to
serve BusWatch with more details. Be aware that these detials are aproximates and might not always be right.
I do my best to keep the database updated.
